My favorite burger spot in Monterey County, if I happen to be passing by around lunch time I find myself on autopilot here. Veggies and burgers are always fresh and taste incredible to me. If you're craving a burger and reading reviews for here, just stop by already!

Passing through Castroville, stopped by this side-of-the-road burger shack for a couple bacon cheeseburgers and some hot crispy fries with my girlfriend. Reasonable prices, quick service, delicious food... we will be back, hopefully next time we will bring along a friend or two.

We came a little after they opened, on our way out of town. The staff were friendly and quick. It a hole in the wall in the best way possible. We ordered the #1 combs and added bacon. SO DELISHHHHHHH. The burger was big and juicy. The fries were cooked perfectly; with a good amount of salt. Would highly recommend!!!!

The monster woo don't get me started this might be the best burger I have had in my life Every-time I am in town I always stop by to get this burger. They are quick and nice service. The Dr Pepper is wow delicious never let me down at this place the fries are also delicious. 10/10

Stopped here and. Our way to the Aquarium. Burgers were delicious. I got the cheese burger with jalapeños and they were very generous. Fries were warm and yummy. Ambiance was as to be expected, a hole in the wall joint that's needs a little TLC. Service was good. Would stop here again when in town.

Always amazing!!! My husband has been eating here for years. I love the number one. But the male shake changed my view on life. I highly recommend!

Ordering there is pretty straight forward, service is great and I've seen the same couple working their over the past years I've been there. Food is amazing and tasty, fresh like always. Overall the environment is chill but it gets really busy when traffic hours start. Again it's normal for so much traffic to start forming there haha. (P.S. if you order the chicken sandwich and don't want cheese on it you have to ask for the cheese to be removed, in the description of the picture it says it doesn't have cheese but it does )

An extremely hot, fresh, and delicious avocado and cheese burger while the wife had a bacon cheeseburger. Had fries and DC. Five star food. Five star tastiness. A lot of reasons this joint should be 5 stars. All it would take is some fresh paint and thorough cleaning. The owner takes the orders and there is no fucking around. Better have your shat together or he turns up the volume. I loved the guy. I would recommend reading the posted rules before you talk to the man. actually loved all of it and could actually look past a few things but...damn good burger and hot fries. Mom and pop making it great!

Glad to have the dining seating again. Nice clean shiny tables. The Patio burger is my favorite but I also really like the chicken plate with rice and yummy dressing on the salad. I got a double order of chicken and I like that they have this option on the menu. Banana split with soft serve, pineapple, strawberry, chocolate, classic style, it's big enough to split. Support this family run business, they deliver on taste and service!

Cute little place that we stopped at to get lunch. On our way down from San Francisco on Highway one. It was just a cute older couple running it and a good amount of people inside having lunch with us. The menu is pretty extensive as they have American and Asian items available. Some of the prices are a little high but I understand why, as it's a small town, so the import prices may be higher. The parking lot is a little tight, so just be careful going around the corners and parking. There is a bathroom on the backside of the building but it's a little sketchy but it gets the job done. It took maybe a few minutes for our food be ready and it was all hot and very delicious. They did mess up. Our onion rings as they thought we wanted those instead of your fries and not add it on but that's OK. They were still delicious. You can also order outside at the order menu, if you'd rather just grab and go instead of sitting down. Like I said, a cute little spot for a quick lunch!
